Hello everyone!
I started taking meds 2 years ago because I was so anxious that the doctor had to give me something. She gave me "Lekotam" and "Zoloft".
Zoloft is an anti-depressant but also stops panic attacks if you take it for a longer period.
Now I am taking "Melleril", "Zoloft", "Xanax SR" (a really good one!) and "Sulpirid" which is for all sorts of symtoms.
Did anyone of you ever tried taking these meds? Did they work for you? 'Cause, they are working for me[:I]
Love

Hi Ana,

Thats quite a heavy cocktail you have there.

Melleril is only used here under hospital supervision and not as a first line treatment for anxiety or panic.

Xanax is used but mainly for short term use only as it's very addictive

Sulpirid is also not a drug of choice for anxiety in the UK

Zoloft - well used.

I'm pleased that they are working well for you, Ana and that you are improving.

Best wishes

Meg

I've never taken any of those ones, i am on Citalopram and hell, did i feel bad for about a week? I completely removed myself from everybody, i cried constantly, i lost a stone in weight and the list goes on and on!!! I feel great now, sometimes even a little too happy. I have recently had my dosage halved, has your doctor suggested changing your dose yet? Its not too good to rely on these drugs long term and you are only young :-)
love and best wishes, helen x
