Well I just want to know if any of you guys have heard or saw someone speaking in tongues before. In case you don't know, speaking in tongues is saying something that sounds like plain gibberish. It could also be speaking in a language you never learned or understood. Just asking cause 4 years ago, my older brother claimed he spoke in tongues at a church retreat. He had more than 6 witnesses there to back up his claim. My brother is Christian and still is. Speaking in tongues may sound crazy to those who don't believe in any religion at all. But people who believe in God and are relgious think they are talking to God. Me personally, I believe my brother spoke in tongues as he said he did. But I'm not sure if it was God because I don't really believe in God. I also learned from reading Billy Grams book that speaking in tongues can be caused by pychological influences and can be Satanic. My cousin who heard and saw it told me he saw my brother rolling on the ground in a violent manner and speak in a strange heavenly language. Then he told me he was scared so he ran out the sanctuary. HE told me he believed that my brother was filled with the holy spirit. I don't know if this was God. I know from history that atheists have spoken in tongues as well. Just wondering if any of you can speak in tongues or know or heard someone speak in tongues.
