Thankyou for your support.
Had to go to church last night with the family, to go to confession so that we are ready for the funeral.
I broke down to the priest and he said that i was obviously very upset and emotionally deranged!
I am taking this so hard because of the horrid circumstances, and i cannot help blaming myself. If i hadn't have moved him, if i had worked on him longer, etc, etc. Losing your dad is tragic enough but to lose him this way has made things ten times worse.
I didn't stay in the church after confession, for the mass, i went back to the car and my daughter came with me and we waited for the others to come out. We are waiting for a post mortem so they don't think the funeral with be next week, but the week after. It will be in the paper tomorrow though. Mum and my auntie are going to pick the plot tomorrow, i cannot go for this, really struggling just to keep living myself at the moment. I am eating and i am sleeping but i am still very scared, feeling unreal and unbelievable and just so very scared. I am terrified that something is going to happen to me because i am going through all this trauma. I know he is in a better place and he is with his family, my mum is coping ok and so are my hubby and my kids, kids bounce back really quickly don't they. But i am really struggling and if i don't keep myself occupied with the laptop or ds, or reading, then i see his face, i relive it all and i head for a severe panic and loss of control which scares me even more. Thanks again for your messages of support. This is so very hard.

Nothing that can be said will lessen your pain and torment at this very moment - we can only offer you our thoughts and prayers.

But it sounds as though you have a strong faith and perhaps this is what will carry you through.

I've heard it said that 'faith isn't faith until it's all you're hanging on to'.

Maybe it's at times such as these that this rings true.
