Monthly quizzes- any comments?

Hi all

As you know I do a prize quiz every month and it takes me hours/days to do it but I get very little response.

I just wanted to find out if it is worth me continuing cos if it isn't something people want on here then I won't do it anymore.

At the risk of sounding thick I have looked at the quiz often but it is so cryptic I either cant be bothered or am too thick to work it out!!!

Despite not doing the Saturday evening quiz (I don't know why, but maybe a 'virtual crowd' puts me off for some unknown reason), I would have a go at the monthly quiz.

I don't have any sound from my PC, and don't feel up to getting the man round to fix it which is a bit weird in itself cos I'm missing it so much I know!
I found the quiz quite difficult, but last time I tried it I was not so bright either. And even 'easy' film, literature and TV questions would be challenging for me as that area is not my strong suit - what an oddball lol

It's good to have a quiz to do at your leisure, but it must be demoralising to put the effort in with little response.

I have only taken part in one (sorry):blush: Must say it is a lot better now you can fill in the answers online so that may help in the future. I had all these bits of paper all over my kitchen with answers on last time lol:) . And it took me ages to send you the email I hadn't written so much since I was at school! Keep it up Nic its a really good idea and I promise I witll do this months:shades: (Do I get my badge now????)

i'm always too busy playing (badly lol!) the games on here to have ago at the quizzes. Just had a look at the music quiz and i might pop back later armed with two teenage daughters :D

:) i havent done it because although i know there are games and the weekly quiz in chat i wasnt aware of this quiz. i would do it if i made time, but if your putting alot of your time into with little response, its up to you whether you continue to do it for a few - personally i wouldnt:winks:

I have just done my first one (Some of my answers are ridiculous - you may get a giggle out of some of them lol), and I really enjoyed it, forgot how competitive i can be! But it cheered me up no end! Cant wait for next months one! :yesyes:

This is the first one i have done! i didnt know you did them! i'm sure i dont look around this site enough!!! i keep finding new things about the site which are really good! love the quizz - didnt know everything but whats the fun in being a know it all! i'll try do them every month! xxx
