Need help with chat room please

Hi there!

It's been more than 5 days now and I decided to try the chat room, but without any success.

I've got the latest Java version on my pc, I disabled Pop-up blockers for this website, and all my cookies have been cleared.

The message when I want to log in is: "RealChat client requires Java compatible web browser".

Any idea?

I'm having exactly the same problem. I use internet explorer.

I found this when I was searching for realchat error with internet explorer...

To enable the Java Console of Internet Explorer, on the menu, click Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced. Scroll down to Microsoft® VM. Then check the Java Console Enabled checkbox and restart Internet Explorer.

Not sure if that will fix it but it's worth a try :)

If you have enabled pop up's and have Java then i have no idea what the problem is, and of course you have been a member more than 5 full days!
Although the last time this happened to me, i took java off and reinstalled it and it did do the trick.

If this doesn't do the trick then we may have to ask the big boss man and woman AKA Alex and Nic. Lol

Thanks. I have read through the technical stuff but will re read it. I've been a member sine March and used to used chat regularly. My pc had a problem and I got it fixed, dunno know if it happened after that. But over the summer I didn't try to get into chat. But when I've tried in the last few months I can't get in. Boo Hoo, cos it helps alot esp with these dark nights!!!:weep:

Have you tried connecting more than once as sometimes I don't get in on the first go and then it goes in ok.

Are you using a firewall? If so disable it and all virus software, lower your security settings and try again.
