I suffered some pa's 10 years ago but passed fairly quickly. A few months ago i found a lump under my armpit and thought the worst (im a bit of a worrier) saw my doc, she said it was an infected lymph node prob due to shaving. I didnt beleive her and thought i may have cancer, when i went back to see her 6 weeks later she couldnt beleive i had these thoughts ad the lump was gone. It now seems to come up before a period and goes away after. Anyway since then i passed my driving test, stopped smoking and WHAM started getting really anxious, no idea why ive went from having headaches which are brain tumours to freckles which are skin cancer now im convinced my sore throat and back are an aneurysm which my neighbour died of a few months ago. Does anyone else have a scary head like mine? I have 2 kids and on my own and getting so scared to be alone in case something happens to me. Would appreciate any advice

Hi,
I'm the same, any little pain or illness my head turns it into the worst case scenario. At the moment I'm worried about my teeth, my ears and that I have throat cancer and I suffer from a lot of anxiety and occasional panic attacks over my health and my kids health.
Like you I am a mum on my own with two small kids and my biggest fear is what would happen if something happened to me and what would happen to the kids.
Feel free to PM me anytime.

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.

I know exactly how you feel, because I am the same way. Everytime I feel ill I think the worst. I have went from..... Cancer, tumors, heart attack, anthrax, west nile, anurisum, u name it im sure I have " had " it.

Try to relax, anxiety gets the best of us, and we just have to stick together through the hard times. Just remember.....U are ok and just try and relax! ! !

We all go through that I think. We take a tiny little health 'problem' and turn it into a fatal disease. Anxiety does this to us - don't worry!! :D
