Hi there
When people talk about having palpitations/ectopics i wonder if its the same as i have.
Sometimes i ge a strange fluttering in my chest which makes me cough just once or exhale sharply
Does anyone know what this is?
Thanks
Hunny x

Pretty sure it's just anxiety. I've had it on and off for years .My dr says the cough is the bodys way of correcting the palp/flutter

sounds familiar.

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.
How big is your gallery ?

In one of Claire Weekes books she says something about a guy having a palpitation then coughing. I have certainly done that too so it must be reasonably common.

yeah you probably get startled and a little saliva goes down the wrong pipe on the inbreath. yeah... a sudden inbreath can do that.

I went in to the dr. for this same thing. I don't normally go in but felt that since it was my heart that I should get it checked out. They did blood work, an EKG and then I wore a holter monitor for 24 hours... oh the tape they use to put that on!! OUCH!!!
Anyway, it was anxiety and I felt silly for going in, but at least now I know that I really need to get help for it if it is going to affect my heart! I also stay away from too much caffine!
Hope you feel better soon.
