Peroxitine allergic reaction

Could someone give me advice please?

About 11 years ago I was put on Peroxitine (not sure if thats the same as Seroxat) for depression and it worked really well. Some years later a doctor, who just wanted to get me out of her room as quickly as possible, prescribed them again. Despite feeling I didn't need them, I started them and had a reaction two days later. Nothing severe and I handled it well ( for all those fellow worriers about taking tabs!! ).

My question is that I am really thinking I need to go back on medication for my anxiety and if I'm prescribed antidepressants again, will I have a reaction, no matter what type I am put on. There must be similar ingredients in the different makes??

Any advice would be much appreciated.
