CBT success????

Hi, I've had about 4 CBT sessions so far for generalized anxiety and I was just wondering if many people had found it cured them. I read on the GA pages on this site that GA can be cured with CBT. I think I'm looking for that ray of hope!! I am finding them usueful for my fear of Tornados (long story!) but my inabilty to rationalise esp over worrying I have some serious medical condition seems to still be there!! I am so determined not to be like this anymore and to (Hopefully) never be like this again!! I do seems to recover quicker if I think my heart is going funny or can't breathe but the niggly thoughts are still there.

I am not on any meds as I dont think they are for me o I'm pinning everything on this working!!
