Gastroscopy appointment very quick

Hi can anyone help my husband has always a suffered with stomach issues and was recently referred to a surgeon about a hernia he has wasn’t concerned about the hernia but recommended a gastroscopy this was last Monday and has received the appointment already for next Tuesday the surgeon didn’t say it was an urgent referral so now my husband is very worried and my health anxiety is through the roof any help welcome

Sometimes you can get an early appointment when other people cancel theirs. It happend to me. I waited 5 days for mine instead of the usual 4 weeks, and my gastroscopy came back without anything super serious.
