Numb toe for weeks, please help
So maybe about 3 or 4 weeks ago, I noticed that the outside edge of my right toe is numb. Not completely numb, but like 90 percent numb. I can feel objects touch it's skin but its like the inside of my toe is numb, and the touch to the skin isn't completely there, especially compared to my other toe. Its like impaired. My other toe is fine. I wear usually some good shoes so I doubt it was that. Just started a construction job 3 days ago and it seems to have made it worse but I think that is just me.
Also, I had a huge MS scare last year and the year before, I saw a neuro, and had 2 MRIs 6 months apart. I get migraines occasionally and had a few lesions because of that. But they said I don't have MS because the lesions aren't on the outside of the brain. (MS has specific lesions in certain locations of the brain: I didnt have that). So ya thats awesome, but I haven't had anxiety since then really. So I don't know why my toe is doing this. I just want it to be fine, why is that impossible...
I don't notice really any other symptoms at this time.
Re: Numb toe for weeks, please help
So what are you afraid of then? It is not MS for sure...

Re: Numb toe for weeks, please help
Hallux valgus (bunions!) or hallux rigidus (your big toe becomes stiff) can cause numbness in toe. Both probably sound scary, but they're not. (I have a rich family history of both - it's almost a question of who hasn't developed either conditions in my family tree)
As a self-declared brain tumour expert (lol) which overlaps quite a bit with MS in terms of symptoms, no I'd bet a lot of money on it that this is NOT MS which you're describing.
Good luck.
Re: Numb toe for weeks, please help
Interesting, I swear I find new weird conditions ive never heard of like everyday lol, but that does reassure me a bit. Of course my toe is still numb tho. Is there anything I should do that could help? Im out of ideas.
