Hi I was diagnosed with panic disorder about three months ago, which now alternates with depression. I don’t have a clear reason behind becoming ill but is so debilitating, I don’t know what to do. I have a mum to a large family and do my utmost to pretend I’m doing ok but it’s affecting my relationship with my husband. My symptoms worsen through the month until my period then I have a little bit of respite then it all Comes back again. I’m on 200mg
Of Sertraline each day and have been on this dose for over two weeks. Today has been as bad as before I was put on the medication. Continually getting shaking episodes, palpitations and have to sit and breathe through them each time, several times a day. The only thing that helps is diazepam and that just makes me sleep so I can’t take them for work. Hoping I’ll find some others suffering with this disorder as I feel very alone.
