Who has used xanax XR?

Who has used the extended release version of xanax and how did it work for you?

I am currently taking 50mg of zoloft but find it to be doing very little and I still turn to my nightly, quick acting xanax dose right before bed time.

Curious to know how the extended release version of xanax would work for me as my only med, for the long haul, as I feel closest to normal when I take xanax.

Hoping that the XR version, if done properly with a doctors taper, can have me anxiety free for a while and then I can eventually come off the med completely.
