Sore throat and sore mouth.
Hi, I've just had a really really nasty infection, which started with a chesty cough accompanied with chest pains. That lasted a couple of days and has now gone. I got that from my 2 children who had the same type of cough/cold.
Straight after that I got a really bad cold and since a couple of days ago, a sore throat.
Now I've noticed that the gum at the far end of my mouth (where my wisdom tooth should be) has little tiny white pimples (about 2) and when I press on it it's really sore, it even hurts to swallow.
It's so far back that I thought it was my tongue but it's in fact my gum (on top and on the inside).
Has anyone had that before? What could it be? An ulcer?
Re: Sore throat and sore mouth.
hi,
sounds very possible that it is ulcers - try a mouthwash that helps ulcers or gargle & rinse your mouth out 3/4 times a day with warm salt water or tcp-see if that helps-youve probably got this as you are obviously down after having 2 colds etc in a short time-your body is low,i,m sure that given a few days it will improve-if not pop along & see the dentist - good luck :yesyes:
