Tell him from me, he’s wrong. You can NEVER buy too many plants.
what have you bought?
Where do I start
Geraniums, petunia, Begonias, lobelia, pansies, statis, a plant with long stems and pom pom flowers, hydrangea (blue), lots of rockery type plants and a raspberry plant.
Well yes, I suppose that is a fair few :winks:
However, nowhere near the ‘too many’ bracket. You'll have a lovely display and Mr.C will eventually agree with you that it was just the right amount of plants.
My raspberries are shooting up now. They are the Autumn fruiting ones. We had a bit of a fruit thing start last year and bought raspberries, gooseberries and blueberries. All survived the winter and are growing well. Although I am suspicious one of the raspberry plants is being nibbled by the deer.
That's encouraging for my new raspberry plant darksky.

Im thinking our lawn needs cutting? Will be a shame though, it’s quite pretty.
I love to see the daisies.
Some people leave a patch (a square or circle) to form a wild flower area. I'll try to get a picture when I'm out next.
That's a lovely garden fishman
