hi guys need advice

Hi guys, ive just got back from holiday and im sunburnt and peeling all pver my back i was itching my back and accidently scratched my raised mole it was horibble cause i scratched it it weeped and bled a little then when i woke up it had healed fine but feels a bit crispy where ive cut it, Ive been sick all day worrying because I KNOW IM NOW GONNA GET CANCER, but i dont wanna die, my mum says its fine and that i can start to worry if it changes colour or gets alot bigger is this true, please if anyone else has knowcked a mole, culd u reasure me

I've got one on my arm that i scratch in my sleep all the time. It goes all scabby for a few days and returns to normal in no time. I took a picture of mine with my phone so i could check (it used to be my main obsession). Get you mum to have a look at it in a few day's and if your still worried go to the doctor. They won't mind having a look at it. I normally go to see the practice nurse at my place she's been around forever has seen everything and is really reassuring, and I don't feel like I'm waisting my doctors time.

Why on earth would you assume that you are going to get cancer???:ohmy:

Alex has big moles on his back and sometimes he scratches them and they bleed and he hasn't got cancer and isn't going to die either.

It will be fine - just let it heal and don't pick it anymore.

You will not get cancer from one mole bleeding trust me.

If it's increasing your anxiety just go and see your Doctor and get it checked out. If you scratch a mole it will bleed, doesn't mean anything in itself though.
