does anybody know of any over the counter mild sedatives
Hi,
I would really appreciate if anybody could help me getting the names of some "mild over the counter sedatives"...
I do suffer from mild situational anxiety and I feel that some mild sedatives could really do the trick.
Some help is much much appreciated.
Thanks all.

Hi there;
Not so much what your looking for but for me they did the trick. Everyone is different but its worth a shot.
Tesco (and other supermarkets of course) do herbal tea at 70p for 20, a really good price. They have loads of flavours, really fruity and fresh ones and they send me to sleep if Im a bit tired or chill me out if Im a bit on edge.
Please note if you do this to look for the ones with 'caffine free' on the box, caffine is no good for anybody.

You can buy Kalms in the BLUE box for the day time and the Purple box is for sleep.Night nurse is not really suitable ,but is good if you cant sleep.Rescue remedy is good and Nic sells it in the Nmp shop.Sue

Quiet Life are good - you can take some during the day too.
I find Rescue Remedy [pastilles] help me relax and drop off to sleep when I'm strung out in the early hours. [although NB I am on a sedative anti-depressant too.]
