Weird feeling in my legs
Hello everyone! I'm new here. I have a panic disorder.
This is my worst worst symptom!
I could live with my hearth beating like crazy, fast breathing.....
but I hate this feeling in my legs I don't know how to define it but I guess if someone of you has it he will recognize it.
I have a feeling like I'm going to collapse. It's hard to express it in english.
Enyone having this symptoms please help!

hi ally welcome to the site I am sure u will get lots of help here. Yes I get the same when i go outside i go all dizzy and my legs go like jelly as if i am going to faint and have to hold onto things, yes its scary but wont harm you I think its one of the more common symtoms of anxiety but if u try and ignore it and carry on (its hard i know) it will go in time. take care Vernon

there is nothing to stop this 'thing' in the legs but breath slowly and calmly

Welcome aboard to the site.
Feeling shaky is quite common and you feel as though your legs are going to give way under you but of course they never do.

Exactlly like they are going to give way under me. So that's the way you say it in english![8D]
I know it's all in my head.
You are not supposed to think about actions of your body that are automatic : like breathing, hearth beating and walking in my case. [8D]That's the most important thing. It happens mostly when I go off the bus and just start walking. And I know here is the situation in which it happened and it will happen again. I think too much about my damm legs! Afterwards it's better but it's a horrible horrible feeling!!!

If you learn to control the breathing better, you will stop the extreme feelings in your legs too as well as bringing down the heart rate..
