I thought the health anxiety report was good, It explains it well. The only bits I disagreed with was they seemed to be saying health anxiety and hypochondria are the same and I don't think they are. Hypochondriacs make up/imagine symptoms that are not there, whereas people with health anxiety have a real sensation or unexplained problem and blow it out of proportion. I didn't agree that most health anxiety sufferers also have depression, OCD or some other mental illness aswell, as you can like me just have health anxiety. All in all though it explained health anxiety quite well, thanks for posting it.

Thanks for the links but I don't have time to join another forum. Maybe others on here will benefit from it.

I am all for finding a place that people are comfortable with and if that forum works for people then that is great so thanks for the link.

The first link doesn't mention that the only "real" cure for Health Anxiety is CBT and that is from the words of the mouth of the man that founded that term.
