I am on Cipralex, the exact same drug as Lexapro. For various reasons I had suicidal thoughts before taking the meds. I started them about 5 weeks ago and to be honest the first 10 days were not pleasant due to the side effects, but the thoughts I was having stopped after 3 or 4 days, and i am happy to say that I am now feeling much much better.
Don't hesitate to ask anything, and take care.:bighug1:

That can be a side effect of the drug in the early stages. Its very important that you speak to your doctor about this.
