New to Zoloft and worried about qt prolongation.

With the possible exception of citalopram (Celexa) and escitalopram (Lexapro) the prolonged QTc risk from SSRIs is very low even in massive overdose. They may only become problematic when taking other medications with a significant impact on QTc, or in patients with Congenital Long QT Syndrome. Your previous EKGs should have detected the syndrome if it were an issue.

I wouldn't expect 25mg to do much. The sertraline therapeutic dose range is 50-200mg/day with most needing to take 100-150mg for optimum results. Given you've been on ADs before you're more likely to need to be at the upper end of the range.
