First time on SSRI

Hi Everyone

I have been going through a major depressive episode and the doctor prescribed me 10mg Lexapro and 3 mg lexatan to help at the start.

Of course i didnt take it for a week as i didnt want to be on medications but i started yesterday. It was strange, after 4 hours i felt great, anxiety and panic seemed to be gone , not sure if that was placebo or not. I took the tablet around 3pm

Then this morning i feel worse than i have ever done, a shivering mess and woke on and off at 3am for the rest of the night. I had to take a lexatan this morning to see if it would help but im at work now and falling asleep and feel so so so bad. Can anyone help me ?

I am also only 3 weeks into a new job which magnifies everything 100 fold. I am so low right now, im thinking of packing in the job and staying at home for 6 months until i feel better
