Strange lump in my throat?
Hi all,
For a week or so now I have had this weird sensation as if there is a lump in my throat, it seems to change positions, sometimes it feels like it is at the back of my throat above my adams apple, and sometimes it feels like it is right at the bottom of my neck just above my collar bones, and I have no clue what it is.
The lump itself is causing no pain, and I have no real difficulty swallowing, however it definitely feels as if there is a lump there.
The sensation goes whenever I am eating and sometimes drinking, but at any other time it is there, and is getting me quite worried as to what it could be.
Any information regarding this would be of great help.
Thanks

Unfortunately Js, there is no way anyone here could possibly diagnose or even venture an educated guess as to what is going on. That being said, it's rather odd that the sensation moves around and there is no sensation of when you eat or drink. It certainly doesn't sound sinister to me but when in doubt a visit to your GP may be in order.

Hi,
I have similar kind of lump feeling in my throat, as you have said that this lump moves, I mean I can feel it, sometimes it is at the bottom right side of throat and sometimes it moves upper right side of throat.
No doctor has been able to identify it, and it's been 2 years now. I got this feeling/ condition in 2015 jan or feb, when I was doing lunch and believe me at that time I panicked and can't tell you that panic type feeling.
But over time I have made peace with this lump in my throat.
I do go to doctor ENt specialists time to time but they can't identify it.
Don't worry you will be Fine IA. :shades::shades:
