Been Docs Today Been On Citalopram 17 Days Gone Through Nightmare First Week But Feeling Better, But Still A Bit Down,so Doc Up Me To 20mg. Bit Worried About Side Effects Coming Back Again Because Upping Dose. Anyone With Some Input Would Be Great.

i started with 20mg so cant really give you an answer but i would imagine that your body has already accepted the drug so upping the dose may have a slight effect but shouldn't be as severe as before.

hi i was on it for 6or7 months started on 10mg after 2 weeks doc upped mine to 20mg the side effects i hardly noticed wen the doze was upped .i took 10mg in the morning 10mg at night .let me no how your geting on tc elaine xxx
i too started on 20mg - wanted to get side effects over with! i would have thought that you may notice a slight increase in side effects but not as worse as when first started - there again - try not to be on the "look out" for them! x
I had virtually no side effects on 10 mg and some on 20mg but nothing really bad
