    breathless in pregnancy

    Hi all
    Im 33 weeks pregnant and feel breathless and stuffed up and heavy head.. in panic :(

    Im also panicking in case epidural will give me serotonin syndrome as im still on cipralex

    advice be really appreciated x

    Hi breathlessness is normal in pregnancy. I remember being out of breath towards the end it is very common and its very normal to panic more during the end of pregnancy your near the finish line but just reassure yourself your body knows what to do.
    "Your uterus (womb) really begins to push upwards into the sheet of muscle that lies under your ribcage (diaphragm), which then presses on your lungs. You'll probably feel some breathlessness at this stage if you haven't before, especially if you're carrying your baby high"

    Hi Bab. Although I do agree with MissSunshine I think its important you contact your midwife or dr to get checked out xx
