    waking up Soaking wet

Has anyone woke up soaking wet?
I went to bed with some anxiety but never
woke up wet like this. I checked my temperature
and it was normal. If its not one thing I worry about
    it is another.

    I too sometimes do this.

Usually its because ive been dreaming of fidgeting in the night.
Maybe you have had a restless night dreaming and it wasnt enough to wake you so you dont remember?

I think it is just another way anxiety shows itself.

Ever since I started my sertraline tablets I wake up ringing wet.
I put it down to them, as it does say that sweating is one of the side effects, having said that, it never happened on the 3 occassions I had taken them previously.

On the plus side, it does mean that germs, bugs or colds don't get to take root as we are washing them out of our system.
On the down side, it means having to wring out our sheets before we can wash them. - yuck!

I was like that this morning - my hair was very damp - must be sweating a lot. Can't be the heating cos that is turned off in my bedroom.

I get very hot at night and sleep with a sheet instead of the duvet!

    Hey Trina,

Its nothing to worry about, It also happens to me sometimes it's probly just axiety, but it could also be nightmares that you may not even remember having.

I too get this a lot - it seems to go through stages, I'll wake up every night with it for a week or so. I wake up boiling and really sweating but then when I pull the duvet off I am freezing again!

It is annoying but it is just a symptom of stress so try not to worry too much
