blood in urine help

hey all
how can you tell there blood in your urine?

when go to toilet when first pee it looks bit red, then turn to a normal color

only notice it when i use my own toilet

Maybe pee into a glass in the morning? Seriously if your urine is red or pink you need to go to your doctor and have your urine tested.

You might have an infection if it's pink or red. It's not normal, maybe ring up the NHS nurse line thing for advice.
Do you have any pain with it at all?
Could be kidney stones too., they can get trapped in the urethra tube

Could be a simple water infection, Pee in a glass and examine it yourself it may just be the lighting in your toilet

Prob will be a water infection iv lost count of how many times if had blood in my urine.. does it hurt atall wen u pee? i had a water infection once that was so bad the skin inside was litrally gettin burnt away so it was bleeding n gettin worse every time i went for a wee.. x

i think in the morning its more concentrated because ive noticed this with my families wee when they forgot to pull the flush and ive always noticeed it and they are all fine x

Urine is always more concentrated in the morning .If its pale then its ok unless you have other sympoms which may suggest infection .The Nurse at the Drs can test your urine with dipstick and check for blood if you are worried .Or you can buy DIPSTICKS from good Chemists ..Expensive tho .Drink plenty of water ,urine can get dark due to not enough water being drunk .IT doesnt mean its blood when its dark .Sue x
