    Big event tomorrow and suffering

    Hi All

Am in a right pickle - tomorrow is my daighter's 6th birthday and have to contend with her party and lots of visitors. Am getting myself in a right state. Had panics through the night and have been sick adn feeling very wobbly this morning. Left side of my face is numb again and chest pain is awful.

How am I going to cope with it ?

    Scared again !!!

    oh katie

i really feel for you. have you got your claire weekes book yet, just try to accept your state and not fear it, fo rit is our fear of the symptoms that keep them coming

you will do it and know that if you are really bad, give someone the reigns and come on to the site for a few minutes for some relief

Hi i can really sympathise with you, i hate organising my kids parties too! The build up is the worst bit though, so you won't feel any worse than you do now. I always try and concentrate on the kids and try to give them a memorable time. I always end up thinking 'what was i worrying about that for?!' Kids parties are always hectic, so you'll have plenty to distract you! I find they are over quickly too.

Hi there, the party will be fine, the kids will love it, lots of things they are not usually allowed to eat, lots of drinkies, loud music, is there some-one close- family/friend who understands how you feel as back-up? You won't need it, but if you feel a little ugh! let the other grown-up take over for a few minutes whilst you get a drink/fresh air. Prepare as much as you can today, kids of that age just love noise/fun/company, please try not to worry too much, you will be fine, and your daughter will love it (and her mum for organising it!) Enjoy. p.s Sorry, the numbness and chest are def. anxiety, have a look at some of the older posts on this site. xxx

    Hi Katie,

Antisapatory anxiety is always the worst.[Ugh][}]

I'm sure once the party is going you will be so busy hopefully the anxiety won't get to you. Distraction is always a good thing and it sounds like you will have plenty to distract you hun!

Many Happy Returns to your daughter and I hope the day goes well. Let us know hun.

    Take Care,

    Love & Wishes
