    is my dose too high?

I have been suffering severe anxiety/panic attacks for several years on and off. Very long story so won't go into it all now.

I was prescribed Mirtazepine a few months ago which were effective for a while but then stopped working. Doc then changed me to Paroxetine and I had a terrible reaction to them. She has now given me a combination of 40mg Propanolol 3 times a day (and says I can take 4 if necessary) and 10mg Diazepam once a day. I've been taking them since yesterday and so far don't feel too bad.

But having read other peoples posts this seems like a lot. After my experience with Paroxetine I'm worried that I'll have a reaction.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

I was on Proprananol 40mg 3 times daily with 75mg of Venlafaxine.

The doctors will know how safe things are to prescribe together so i would try not to think about what other people are on and concentrate on you. Everyone is different. The Proprananol you won't be on that amount forever anyhow, it will only be until they've got your adrenaline under control. I only take my venlafaxine now and only take the odd betablocker when i really need it x
