Hi Blade,

I really hate that tense stomach feeling which goes with the shaking and the pounding heart. I find it very hard to relax when I'm like that but find that distraction is definitely the best solution. Maybe it's time to give the bike a spring clean or watch some old repeats on tv - don't ask why but I ended up watching repeats of Dallas on Sky this morning (bang goes my cultured reputation).

Must dash as I'm off to dig out the cowboy boots and plan my hostile takeover of a multi-national oil company.

Take care - you'll be feeling better later. The mornings are always the worst.

Thanks for reply Pip , been feeling off all day , avoiding people etc :( , spent afternoon in garden doing a bit and that took my mind off it a little . oh the fun of it all , what will tomorrow bring ?

Rain its awful to be so scared, I dont even answer the door or pick up the phone, I know its not good but its how I cope right now, I tell myself everyday, pick yourself up and get on, but in reality it isnt that easy, Im normally the life and soul, but over the months its my own company I only feel safe in, thats just how I am

Still shakey and my teeth are hurting where im still grinding them , sleeping a bit better now though , i hit the tiredness wall about 3 is this afternoon and just couldnt function , still having weird dreams and a couple of other strange side effects i wont go into


Today has mostly been ....... reasonable

Hope you are feeling better today Blade. We all have off ones!
I should have gone to the community health today but couldn't face it. I wasn't having a brilliant one.
Got to think of an excuse or tell the truth about how I feel.

Hi Blade,

Give it time - you'll get there. I was feeling just like you a few weeks ago and now I'm much better. I know it's hard work getting there though.

I can imagine the other side effects you're referring to. If they're what I think they are, they get better after a few weeks. I went through that last time.

Hey Blade. I've taken Cit before and I was okay with alcohol, but the effects are likely to be amplified in the first few weeks while you adjust to the meds. Getting onto anti deps is a right mare for me, so i'm not surprised to read what you're going through. I have to start mine next week and i'm bricking it. The side effects do wear off, even the weird ones! That you are having ok to good days if fantastic. The weather is getting better too, so you'll be looking for a bike soon! If you were near London/Kent, You could take mine for a spin! Stick with it Blade.

Hi Fuzzy head , i,m the excuse king , i gotta excuse for every occasion , but on this occasion i think the truth would be better , on my last visit i told them everything i was feeling , not heard from em since !

Pipkin .... I hope those side effects do get better , never had any probs like that before

Arbarth .... i,m in surrey not far from Epsom , 20 mins from Box Hill , i used to go there every weekend in the summer , loads of bikes but you can still be invisible if you want to be , just put your crash helmet back on , thanks for the offer but i dont like riding other peoples bikes , Just in case !



Today , so far is shite , shakey and numb , diddnt sleep well and teeth hurt , cant seem to think straight

Those side effects - I hadn't had that sort of problem before either so, when I was on venlafaxine last time, it came as quite a shock. I thought great, just when I thought things couldn't get any worse. However, mind over matter is the secret and it does get better. This time, I've been fine.

How are you feeling today? And how are you Ant? I'm ok today though definitely a bit shaky in the mornings but I think I always will be.
