Fluoxetine side effects, am I the only one?

Hi :3 I'm Hayley & I'm 16 years old, been on 20mg daily generic brand fluoxetine (called Lovan) for around 3 years

At first the side effects I experienced were manageable

These were

Nausea
Headaches
Mild indigestion
Bruising
Panic attacks (I've also got panic disorder XD)

Lately though, the indigestion & bruising seems to have become worse to the point where I now barely eat & wake up every morning with at least one new bruise. Has anyone else experienced this? If so do you have any information for me? Kinda worried here!

I'm on sertraline and so don't have the same experience as you, but from what you say it seems that the meds are no longer working for you and maybe it would be a good idea to go see your doc and say whats happening. They are meant to help, not hinder xxxxxxx

Ahh thank you for that! My best friend's mum thinks the same thing so I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case. Have seen my doctor but he won't change anything till I've seen a psych. Now waiting on seeing my psychiatrist now to hopefully put me on new meds
