Swallowing when Driving

I have an issue where I can't swallow when driving, one thing that helps is eating at the wheel, but it is not practical as I am trying to loose weight and my journey is 15 minutes in each direction, anyone got any tips, have tried boiled sweets.

I suppose the question is, why can't you swallow when driving? Is it just anxiety?

Really?? That happens to me too!! It's been happening for years and I've got more used to it but it's still pretty scary!

I haven't found a way to stop it but I've never crashed the car as a result of this.

Must be yet another anxiety symptom! :-(
