    Ultrasound results

Many of you on here will know that I have had an ongoing terror of having ovarian cancer for last couple years!!

Finally decided to have scan - abdominal and ovarian.

Results now in - one ovarian cyst - current size 4cm. Fibroids in uterus.

Review scan in 10 weeks ..........

So NOT ovarian cancer as I imagined but still something to deal with with my HA and hospital fears. So, how am I going to deal with this?

Hopefully in a rational way otherwise I will end up in a pickle!

No promises but I shall do my best to keep moving forward :-)

Thanks to all who have supported me xxxxx

Thanks for the update Macc and I am so glad it was nothing sinister and things that can be treated or left alone (fibroids).

Fingers crossed your cyst disappears like mine did.

    Re: Ultrasound results

Macc so pleased that your results are through.

You will deal with this hun, you are so much stronger than you were, going for the scan in the first place has proved that.

As Nic said hopefully the cyst will have shrunk by the time you are re-scanned but even if not it is not the dreaded "C".

You can do this honey and you know that we will all be behind you every step of the way.

I hope that you are having a wee glass of wine to celebrate.

    Loads of love

Really really chuffed for you. Ive been looking out daily for an update.
I suffer from the OC fear like yourself as I get horrible symptoms that point to it!!.
I need to pluck up the courage to go to the docs my smear letter has just come so will have a chat when I go for that!!!

Hopefully the cyst will go...fingers crossed

So good to hear this news Macc
not the big C word thank goodness ........huge hugs
Rest easy tonight if you can ..........lots of options for fibroids and the cyst may well go on its own as others have said .
I hope you are going to sleep well tonight .......you must be exhausted and still worried I realise of course ...but what to do [if indeed anything ] can wait for a while . No OC xxx

    love Snow
