    Tablet trap!

I've been taking lofepramine for five years now, I was told that I would only be on them for 6 months initially.
I tried, under supervision, to come off them about 3 years ago but felt so ill with withdrawl symtoms.
Now i feel that I am trapped in a permanent cycle of having to take tablets.

Has/ does anyone else feel as tho they have to have their meds all the time?

Hi Will, I have only been on meds for nearly three weeks and I only plan to stay on them for up to a year, if not less. I know people that have had no problem coming off but I suppose everybody is different. I hope I don't have a problem when the time comes. Can you not try to ride the withdrawl symtoms through?

I hated taking anti-depressants so came off Prozac after a year and decided to go it alone so to speak

It is personal choice I guess - if they help then fine but if you feel out of control like I did then u have to come off them.
