Head pain

Hi all.
Over the last two years I've managed to convince myself that I have
cancer in the following places, throat,esophagus,bowel,liver bladder
etc.This is made 100 times worse by going on google and jumping to
conclusions !
The one sympton which doesn't normaly bother me is headaches, because I've had tension types on and off for 20+ years.
However following a bout of light headeness which lasted about 5 weeks
I went on to Google and found brain tumour !!
Since then I get a mild pain either at the back of my head or on the top
which lasts between a few seconds to 10-15 mins. The pain is very mild
and is NOT made worse by coughing, sneezing etc.Though its not a discomfort, because its new to me I have convinced myself its a brain tumour!!! I'm also getting pins and needles in both hands and a weakness in my right arm and leg, though I think thats just my mind
playing tricks on me !
Does any one get these or similar head pain-not tension type ?

Hi Nigel,

Have you been inside my body these past 10 years by any chance. You might as well have written that for me.lol. I so so know what your going through with your thoughts. The only difference being its my left side and not my right. Guess our old health anxiety sucks but some day soon Nigel we will overcome it hun.

Thanks for the reply, its nice to know I'm not alone !!
The most frustrating thing for me is that everytime I overcome one
sympton, another arrives. Even though you know the last one was anxiety you still assume that the latest one is terminal !!!!!
Feel like banging my head against a wall sometimes !!

Hi Nigel,

When I read your post I was also glad I wasnt alone. My gp always tells me it's a reasurrance thing wih us folks that suffer from health anxiety. And I agree when one symptom goes another takes its place and thats guaranteed lol.
