Believe me, the situation you are in will improve

I suffered with Health Anxiety horribly for years before stumbling upon this forum about 5 years ago. I'm not saying that I'm not more aware than others about health issues now, and I'm not saying I'm 'cured', but I am saying that I still have contact with some of the then users and it does not stop us living good lives and only occurs in times of extreme stress, etc.

There isn't a magic bullet, with some it's anti anxiety meds, some CBT, some get through it themselves / change their lives in other ways - for me I changed my diet and it had a massive effect.

I thought I had MS / lupus plus liver / kidney / heart disease - various cancers, etc. I know how every twinge and every slight thing doesn't seem at all like a slight thing - but believe me, you will improve, things will get better and you will get back to a life worth living. Generally the people I met on this forum (or it may have been another similar one, but I think it was this) were ill because they were sensitive to a lot of things, anxious about those around them, about how life was going to turn out, everything from micro relationship issues to global warming. That's a good thing, but perspective and a holistic, pragmatic can be more healthy.

I just wanted you all to know that things are going to be ok, take time out from panicking to realise that it is, and get on the road to recovery.

    Mark.
