I'm just starting to come off cit (20Mg down to 10Mg daily, then down to 10Mg every other day). No problem with that but wanted to find something that I could take with Cit to replace it if need be.
I'd heard good things about Inositol but all the studies said it was effective in does of around 12g daily, the equivalent of 24 tablets. All the same I'd also been suffering considerable fatigue and one test had shown I was Vit B12 borderline deficient, so since Inositol is in the same family I thought I'd give it a go.
That was a week ago and I haven't had any major problems with fatigue all week, on two 650Mg tablets daily. I wondered at first if it was my mind playing tricks, but the effect is has not waned.
To say I'm gobsmacked is the understatement of the year .
Has anyone else used it to the the same effect?
Oddly my GP hadn't heard of it even though have been a good number of studies on its efficacy, but since it's a vitamin supplement there's not a lot of profit in researching such for the drug companies
one of us
