IVF
Hi everyone,
I have a history of HA and am on the waiting list for CBT. At the moment I'm OK (touch wood!!) but I have to carry a diazapam in my purse "just in case"!
I have just started IVF and have been injecting myself for the last week. wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be and apart from feeling shattered I feel OK.
However, next week I'm due to start a new set of injections to stimulate my ovaries to produce eggs. In about 5-10% of people this can lead to ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome which can be fatal. I AM BRICKING IT!!
I have a history of bad reactions to medication which has made me particularly anxious about this and obviously my hope is that the IVF will work and i don't need to be stressing about this stuff!
Has anyone ever been through anything similar or have any pearls of wisdom? I just really don't know how I'm going to get through the next few weeks.
