Day 11 of Cit.

Hi

I am now on day 11 and feeling worse than a few days ago, I was hoping I would start to feel better, the GP has told me to higher dose to 20mg from 10mg at the end of the week and now I wonder if I should, am I going to feel even worse?

No you wont , Some people take longer to adjust to starting meds than others , stick with it . Citalopram worked wonders for me

Yes still too early to see any good effects yet. Nothing to do but grit your teeth and hang in there.

Don't give up, each day is one day closer to feeling better. It's hard to put a number on when each of us see some benefit as we are all different but I would aim for about day 21 or there about's, yes 10 more days of horridness but it will be soooo worth it!
