you really are doing well.when I tried to reduce from 75 and my symptoms started I went straight back on them. Took 8 weeks but I got back to normal. Am up to 150 now but fee determined I will get back to my old self. You must be so proud of yourself

Hey Anni, I found the best thing to do was to feel settled on what ever dose I was on for say at least 2-3 months without any issues or blips and then say right I'm going to reduce down 37.5mg's.
You will feel rubbish for around 7-10 days, and your symptoms may return but I found that it's your body adjusting and not me getting ill again! once reduced do the same again. You kind of know when you feel settled, there's no rush but I just found the SE's to much at higher doses!
And I couldn't take loads of time off work because of my business although the doctors were always signing me off! You will get there, as we all know it takes time!

Well that's Christmas and New year done!
I'm feeling ok I guess, I've made time to go out fishing and walks etc over Xmas,
Not been feeling full of it and alittle flat? But could be because of the rubbish weather we have been having in the S/W!..lol
I def don't feel the need to go back on Ven anymore! But I do feel abit low at times, I guess
its the stresses and strains of modern life!
Let's hope 2014 is my year!

modern life certainly does have stresses and strains. We've been having rubbish weather up here in the midlands too and that doesn't help. Keep going Gav..push away the low bits if you can. I try singing..maybe thats why its raining so much lol

I've actually perked up again!
So med free 2014 here I come! Got 2 weeks of work then I'm off to Lanzarote for some sun!
Got to be done with all the crap weather we are having!
Trying to think positive from now on and going to have a great year!

I've always wanted to go to Lanzorote..sounds exotic. Been to Tenerife lots of times and Feuterventura and love those. Have a fab time. Glad you feel up again and remember thats all down to you. brilliant for being so positive.
At the moment I am feeling a bit better and sometimes really good. It tends to vary through the day. I think the 225mg of ven has certainly helped and I'm glad I took it now.

Well I think at last I'm over my blip of coming off Ven, feeling pretty good again.
And looking forward to 2014 what with my business, holidays, friends, family and a lovely wife!

Hi, been on this for ages,gettingon it was awful..... But i'm more stable...

HOWEVER.... I do have the occasional memory blip, lack of concentration. I'm not as emotional as I used to be and still feel very lonely
