    Back from mountain hiking

    Just a quick update...

I came back from about 2 hours of hiking in the mountains. I had no real trouble, even though all the time the sensation of weakness in my left leg was there.

My own non-professional and subjective interpretation is that the nerves that are responsible for the muscle movements are normal...so the strength is there. The problem is with the sensory nerves send signals to the brain...and in my case the brain is receiving signals that the leg is weak. The reason maybe HA or organic...

Does this even makes sense? If yes, is it a good or bad thing?

    Thanx

Adrenaline does weird things. As you say, there is no actual weakness.

    Hi

This makes perfect sense to me, I have the same 'sensations' running through my muscles. It's like a part of the brain is saying 'the muscles are weak, and are struggling with the task in hand'......but the muscles are sending a signal back to the brain sayin 'I'm fine!! No problems here'.....and this argument goes on and on and on and on to the point where I am tired refeering the fight!!!

My problem is that this is going on for months. For how long do you have it?

For as long as it bothers you!

Once it stops bothering you it goes away. That isn't Sod's law it is fact. It takes a little while to fade though.

If there was genuine weakness your leg wouldn't work properly. Clearly it does. Oh, and jelly legs or leg can be worse on one side.

I agree with Jules147, it will last as long as you let it last!

Every time you feel it tell yourself it is only your anxiety playing tricks with your mind then forget about it (easier said than done, I know) but try drilling it in to your way of thinking and eventually it will fade away. Don't get me wrong I still have these thoughts but I am trying to change my way of thinking and trying to get the better of it. Give it a go, I think you will surprise yourself.

    Best of luck
