citalopram and sex side effects

Hello all, have been on Citalopram for 3 months now, no adverse side effects regarding sex drive, but over the past 2 weeks, despite the mind being willing, I have found it has taken much much longer to orgasm.

Im not sure wether its a blessing or not, but just a bit worried. The wife isnt used to a marathon and I seem to be getting distracted by how long its taking.

Would be interested to hear from any others this has happened to and if normal service resumes eventually.

I can accept all of the other side effects but sexual function is a step too far.

I've lost all interest in sex since being ill and being on 4 different AD's, I've spoke to my doctor about this and she said things will settle in time and should go back to normal. I expect ur situation is the the same, in time ur get back to normal. Least you have an interest in it and can perform!
