Citalopram week 3

Hello!

So on week 3 of Citalopram now, had a good week last week having good days and feeling happier but the anxiety is back this week, felt awful earlier today.

Is this normal to have a good week then go back down again? Seeing doc on Tuesday so may discuss having my dose upped!

Also I took Citalopram a year ago for depression and this time for anxiety... Will taking it before change how effective it is this time around??

I had a fantastic week last week (my 3rd one!) but today seems to have taken a slight downturn. Bit anxious tonight and can't sleep. Don't know if it's the heat, or the meds or what, but I definitely haven't had this for a couple of weeks!
I know we will have little blips here and there and go up and down for a while, I would maybe give it a few.more weeks and see if things sort themselves out.

I'm far from an expert though....I'm going through this roughly at the same time as you so anything I say is speculation!

Hey Laura,

It's horrible isn't it. Having that feeling that it's working then going down again. But just got to push through it I suppose. I'll see what the doctor recommends tommorrow!
