Phoned my docs about mi ''Pile'' and wish i hadnt

I spoke to the receptionist to see if my doc would call me to see if its normal to have this for 6 weeks! as I have taken a look at its still like a lump. and she said they cant consult about this over the phone and i need to come in as it could be something more serious?! I cant get an appointment until Tuesday now :'(

Well it's hard to give adive about a lump if you can't examin it.

Iv managed to get an appointment this afternoon as long as my boss can give me an hours lunch! fingers crossed cause i really dont want to think about it all weekend! x

The receptionist shouldn't really have suggested to you that it "could be something more serious" in the first place, but did do the right thing in saying you would need an appointment. Before you get yourself wound up about what she said though, consider this: does she have medical training? (no) is she qualified to give medical advice? (no) was she just erring on the side of caution in making you an appointment with the person who can answer yes to those questions? (yes!)

My boss has let me have an hour lunch! so that's good! dont really want to worry about it until Tuesday when i have an interview at work for a little bit of a promotion on monday! so fingers crossed this doc will tell me its fine! xx

Well iv been to the docs! apparently its just a thing. its not a pile or a tag its just there?? reassuring lol xx
