severe pulled muscle in chest says gp still really anxious thinking of going to a&e

I went to GP today and she said it is a trapped nerve in my chest and GERD I was given omeprazole 20mg once a day and take paracetemol for a pulled muscle and diazepam if I have to. I slept for 6 hours last night in the same position on my left hand side of my chest. It is agony but I did walk 1 1/2 miles to the surgery and I was told that if I was having a heart attack there would be no way I could do that!!

I keep on thinking what if she is wrong I was thinking of going to a & e and if it was a heart attack would be pain last nearly 12 hours?

You would know if it was a heart attack trust me I have had one.

I have tight chest muscle pain everyday. Get random twinges. Not sure if its muscle like how I lay on it at night. Causing it ?!
