    vomiting bug

    Hi All.
    just after some reasurance.
my son aged 6 got a vomiting bug on wednesday night..was up all night with him being sick..still sicky on thurdsay and just one sick episode on friday..gradually introducing small amounts of food..hes had lots of liquids throughout.we took him to the docs on thursday as he had a high temp that day..thats fine now. doc said viral gastro..hasnt been sick for well over 24 hours..said his tummy still hurts a tiny bit..but hes so tired and very grumpy..i know this is proberly normal, its only been 4 days since he first got it.please can someone reasure me that its normal for him to feel miserable and tired afterwoods..he did drink fluids throughtout and since the vomiting stopped..i suppose worrying about him is stopping me worrying about myself for a change.
thanks all.just looking for some reasurance,
    xx

It's not surprising his little tummy hurts from all that sickiness, poor thing. I've had a similar bug since last Sunday (as has my Mum), and I'm still feeling very tired, and consequently down in the dumps.
