extreme stomach spasms help

Today I got the most painful stomach spasms I have ever had! And I thought my tummy had been so much better the last few weeks! It came out of nowhere and litterally crippled me for a few seconds, I have quite a high pain theshold but this was pretty immenses felt like multiple electric shocks all throughout my abdomen! Has anyone else have any thing like this? Pain so bad it makes you feel you may collapse? Xx

Well I get this but I do have Crohn's.

If the pain is really bad you should see a doctor to be honest.

IBS pain can be extremely painful for me it feels like my intestines are being squeezed and twisted. I also know from being on an ibs forum that intense pain like that to the point of collapse/vomiting sometimes happens with ibs :( It is absolutely possible for this to be ''just ibs'' but that doesnt mean to say you have to dismiss or put up with it. I would definitley go to your Dr and ask for a proper diagnosis then some antispasmodics. Buscopan I found really useful in shortening the spasm attacks
