    Teeth panic

    Hello,
This is my first post. I feel like my teeth are going to fall out I've had this before, a numb feeling in my gums and they feel funny in my mouth and of course the more I think about it the more I keep pushing them with my tongue.
This has been a bad week for my health anxiety/OCD I found out that my Auntie can't be given anymore treatment for her cancer and I also had a new exhibition to set up and had to attend the private view so I think the stress has got to me. I never feel free of health problems lately. Has anyone else had the tooth thing? Oh I also found out that my cousins tooth came out and he's only 30! oh my god.
Just writing this down has made me feel a bit better.

    Hi Michelle and welcome

I don't exactly have the same as you though I am phobic of the dentist! When I'm anxious my neck, chest and throat ache and sometimes my jaw aches too.

It sounds like you've got quite alot going on at the moment, so its not too surprising if you feel a bit anxious. Try to hang in there. This is a great place for advice and support.

    Lisa.

    Welcome aboard

I used to have continuous nightmares about my teeth and i dreamed about pulling them out to get relief.

It was just a phase I went through and it did go.

If you look after them there is no reason to lose them atall.

It makes me feel better knowing that you all understand. There's only so many times you can ask someone if their teeth feel funny LOL!
