Propranalol & Immunosuppressants, Steriods & Anti-biotics

Hi All,

I'm new here. I have been suffering from severe anxiety and panic attacks for the past few months. I have been on anti-depressants for about 5 years now. I was on Citalopram but now i'm on Mirtazapene which i'm not finding as good.

I have had 2 liver transplants and numerous other surgeries so am on quite a lot of other medication. My GP recently increased my dose of Mirtazapene and prescribed me Propranalol which i said i am reluctant to take but she said it's there if i need it. However, i forgot to ask if it is safe to take with my other drugs especially with my immunosppresants, steriods and anti-biotics.

I was wandering if any one has some knowledge about this? Any advice would be most appreciated.

Sorry but with your medical background as it is, I really wouldn't like to even hazard a guess.

I think your best bet is to talk to your doctor about it, that way you know that the information is correct
