There isn't a doubt that I have TMJ, I have most symptoms and I have had braces before, although now I wear a plastic retainer. Not the metal one that resides in front of your teeth, just a clear plastic one.
But with the symptoms of TMJ, do you get an achy, horrible pain in your throat? I have one on the right side and it hurts so bad for a few seconds where I have to stop what I'm doing. It hurts to swallow or clear my throat too, and this worries me.. Sometimes it just hurts on it's own, like a throbbing dull ache. I also get the feeling that something is stuck in my throat, but also like a hair as well?
Anyone have any insight about this? I'd really appreciate it! x
